Here’s a video by my college buddy and filmmaker Michael Amundsen. When I first looked at it, there were several things in it that I didn’t like. I felt that some of the things he left in made me look stupid. However, out of love and respect for him, his art and his craft, I left it all in, raw and uncut. Now I’m glad I did. I learned new things about myself and about being an artist. And, isn’t that what art ought to help us do?
